Why isn't it a doggy dog world?
I’ve always thought that it was a doggy dog world because dogs have the good life. Wild dogs have complete freedom with base needs to satisfy. Domestic dogs have base needs satisfied. Sure they can’t potty everywhere they want to, but their life in domestication is fairly smoothe.
I was corrected by my professor, and told that it is a “dog eat dog world” (2007 Intermediate Creative Writing class) which makes no sense to me. It is not a dog eat dog world. It is what is made of it by our own selves. When unplanned things happen, it is how they are dealt with.
Life happens as it does.

You know, I think the doggie dog vs. the dog eat dog worlds that we live in both exist. Some dogs lead the happily oblivious lives where they know exactly where their next meal comes and some dogs have to scrounge around for every morsel. And it's the same with people. But what's great about the human race is that we're able to scrap around, and grow from the scrapping and build ourselves to a doggie dog contentedness despite our external circumstances.
On another note: You go girl! Great job with the articles.
